MaryJoy Ford has lived in Santa Fe for most of her life. The city's rich cultural heritage and its diverse population, combined with the stunning natural beauty, drew her to the area and continues to inspire her life here.
She works in every area of real estate: single family homes, condominiums, multi-plex properties, and land sales. Her sales activity includes the historic Eastside, Guadalupe, and South Capital areas, as well as high-end luxury homes in the La Tierra and Las Campanas developments. During her career, many of her transactions have set record sales prices, and she has been awarded honors for top sales production. Her broad experience also lends itself to commercial and investment properties.
MaryJoy is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the National Council of Residential Specialists, and the Santa Fe Association of Realtors. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Historic Santa Fe Association, SWAIA (Southwest Association on Indian Art - Indian Market), and the American Association of University Women. She is currently a member of the League of Women Voters and the Santa Fe Native Plant Society.
She earned her MA in energy and environmental management from the University of New Mexico and worked for several years as Bureau Chief (NM State Govt.) of energy efficiency programs, developing and implementing solar and alternative transportation fuels projects for residential and commercial sectors throughout the state. Her previous experience as a psychiatric social worker makes her an excellent listener, mediator, and negotiator.
