Kathleen Byrne loves the excitement of change and helping clients navigate their way through a changing and challenging real estate market is what she does best. She previously lived in Seattle where she enjoyed a career as executive vice president in the advertising and marketing research industry for 20+ years working with clients such as Nike, Starbucks, Nordstrom, and Microsoft on an international and domestic level. In 1998, she and her husband Robert moved to Boston where they successfully owned and operated two real estate companies in Needham and Westwood for over 10 years. For the past 12 years, Kathleen has been a top real estate broker on Cape Cod specializing in luxury, waterfront, water view and village properties.
Kathleen’s ability to combine her background in marketing, advertising, consumer research and real estate management helps make her a trusted advisor to her clients. Her vast global network and relationships with the Boston area and metro west realtors allows her to cross-market properties for greatest exposure. At Sotheby’s International Realty she is a part of a dedicated team committed to white glove service, creative thinking and intelligent advice.
Kathleen’s love of Cape Cod goes back to her family’s deeply rooted history in Wellfleet. She currently lives in The Ridge Club in historic Sandwich and maintains a home in Boston’s South End. A voracious reader and frequent European traveler, Kathleen enjoys preparing regional cuisine with family and friends. A lifelong appreciation of art developed in her youth. Kathleen has collected works by local and global artists which adorn the home she shares with her husband and prize English Springer Spaniels – Chelsea and Casey.
