Local Expertise. Global Connections.
David Goldberg has been involved in real estate in many different capacities for the past 21 years. His career began working with his family in the construction industry. He played the role of designer and project manager for the construction of numerous homes and commercial buildings. After working in the family business he ventured out on his own, buying land, designing new homes and selling them. Prior to moving to Pasadena in 1993 he had shifted his focus to the renovation and sale of vintage homes. He has become intimately involved with many of the historic institutions in Pasadena and has been fortunate enough to have gained the reputation as being one of the real estate agents who is truly knowledgeable regarding the marketing and renovation of historic homes. At Sotheby's International Realty he is partnered with Peter Martocchio, and together they have been involved in the representation of historic homes by such noted architects as Greene and Greene, Rudolph Schindler, Wallace Neff and Buff and Hensman. One of the factors that sets them apart as agents is their apreciation and understanding of architecture and their involvement in restoration and renovation. They believe that it is extremely helpful when selling real estate to be able to give advice regarding what it will take to do the improvements that many people require. They have the ability to help formulate a renovation plan complete with a list of contractors who can perform almost any type of renovation. At Sotheby's International Realty they are both top producers, and they pride themselves on being agents who truly put their clients' needs first. They are both well versed in the art of negotiation and have a reputation as being agents who are a pleasure to work with. In addition, David has his Ph.D in clinical psychology.
