Local Expertise. Global Connections.
Patty Anker is a multiple award-winning realtor and Team Leader of The A Team at Julia B. Fee Sotheby's International Realty in Irvington NY. Back when Patty was a courage coach, helping clients face their fears of everything from public speaking to driving to swimming, she thought she knew all about facing fears. Until she moved from her house of 13 years. 'Moving was exciting...and scary!' she says. 'It didn't matter that I was only going 10 miles from Hastings-on-Hudson to Pleasantville, essentially crossing I-287. It was a big deal.'
Patty became a realtor to guide others through the decathlon of financial, emotional and logistical real estate obstacles in any residential transaction. Along the way, many discover the transformative power of greeting a big life change with courage and joy. 'It isn't easy to let go of the past, and go toward an unknown. The fear of making a wrong high-stakes decision can be paralyzing. I am here to empower clients to move forward with confidence.'
In 5 years Patty has gone from earning Howard Hanna Rand Realty's Westchester County Rookie of the Year Award, to being named to Westchester Magazine Top Real Estate Agents 2023, with top producer awards every year. You may have seen Patty featured on HGTV House Hunters 'Fighting for a Fixer in NY' or on WABC TV News, or quoted in Westchester Magazine, about the real estate market. A former media relations director at The New York Times, Patty brings marketing savvy and her extensive network to her sellers and buyers. A published author (SOME NERVE: Lessons Learned While Becoming Brave was an Oprah Book Club 2.0 pick) and public speaker (TEDx Talk 100K+ views), Patty's storytelling ability blends seamlessly into her advocacy for her listings and clients.
In order to provide the best personal diligence and care, Patty formed The A Team on the principles of Opening Doors (fair housing, luxury service at all price points), Closing Deals (vigorous representation with the highest ethical standards), Creating Community (as immigrants or the children of immigrants, we believe everyone is an insider with the right guide). A small, elite team of agents and admin allows us to be there for our clients and our communities. The A Team produces local websites: RivertownsInsider.com, PleasantvilleInsider.com, LowerHudsonValleyInsider.com, and hosts networking events for clients and collaborators. We work every day by appointment from our team office in the historic Marmaduke Forster House in Pleasantville, and you can find us at the Pleasantville Farmers Market where we sponsor the Community Tent and host a Historic Homes Tour. Or simply Book an appointment and let's get started!
