As a Global Real Estate advisor, Rick is proud to be an integral part of the prestigious Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty office in Dana Point, CA. With over 16 years of experience throughout Southern California, in all types of real estate transactions, including; primary residences, 2nd home/vacation properties, investment income (1031 exchanges, flips or rentals), short sales, distressed properties, bank owned (foreclosed), divorces, probates, land, churches, AirBnb's and other reasons, Rick puts his experience and local area knowledge to use exclusively for Pacific Sotheby’s discerning clients. Providing exceptional service, responsiveness and results are paramount in how he approaches his clients and real estate transactions. He understands that the value in real estate may not just be in the sticks and bricks, but also in the emotions, energy and dreams of those he works with.
Rick has an easy-going style with attention to detail which he incorporates with his knowledge and experience in construction and investing, added to his problem-solving abilities, superb marketing and strong negotiating skills, all for the ultimate success of his clients. His extensive experience and real estate expertise is borne and shaped from a career in business, sales and marketing including owning and operating his own security and home systems contracting company, working in television advertising (30 and 60 second commercials) with such networks/stations as CBS, KCAL, FoxNews, CNN, MTV, ESPN, etc. and of course, real estate purchasing, sales and investing (including for himself!). With a focus on continued learning, Rick keeps himself and his clients ahead of 'the game'.
Personally, Rick enjoys a very active lifestyle. When he's not working, you may find Rick spending time with his adult kids in all kinds of activities like flying, sailing, snowboarding, golfing, tennis, Pickleball, basketball or enjoying the local (and not so local) wineries and restaurants, and traveling, as well as various other outdoor and cultural activities. From time to time, he donates his plane, fuel and piloting skills for charitable flights in helping severely ill patients get to critical care through Angel Flights. He also donates some of his time and earnings to homeless causes.
