Daniela Ahlenius

Daniela is an accomplished real estate professional with extensive experience gained from living in several countries. Growing up in Stockholm, Sweden, she developed a passion for languages and cultures and holds a degree in Hispanic Philology and a major in Spanish. She studied in France, Spain, and Mexico before making Mexico her forever home in 2005. Daniela is fully fluent in Spanish, English, and Swedish, both oral and in written.

With many years of experience working with the Swedish Embassy in Mexico City, Daniela has developed her public relations, office administration, event coordination, and marketing skills. She also worked with consular affairs after completing a training program in Stockholm.

As a San Miguel resident since 2012, Daniela profoundly understands and is passionate about the community and its offerings. Before entering the real estate industry, she was the Administrative Director of the renowned international music organization, Festival de Música de Cámara de San Miguel de Allende, and is currently involved with the non-profit charitable organization Ópera de San Miguel. Daniela founded a catering business and is keen on healthy cuisine, yoga, music, arts, literature, ecology, sustainability, mindfulness, neuroscience, and singing.
