Local Expertise. Global Connections.
A third-generation Garden City resident, Aimee Hester Escher, has extensive knowledge about the towns and neighborhoods of Long Island as well as Manhattan. She has lived in Garden City with her husband and three children for 20 years and is actively engaged in the community.
Aimee started a career in floral design alongside her mother, Barbara, as the exclusive floral designer for Atlantic Beach's premier Lawrence Beach Club. This led to a decades-long relationship with various New York venues and businesses. At the same time, her creative aspirations led her to a career in visual merchandising and design at the very prestigious luxury retailer Tiffany & Co. In charge of Tiffany & Company's US and International divisions as well as the growing Japanese market, Aimee managed all creative installments and special events, as well as assisting in the design of the NY flagship store's stunning second floor.
Aimee started her own landscape design company and holds an interior design degree. Both her background and experience are a natural fit for real estate, helping buyers reimagine and transform older homes and sellers garner top market prices from her first-rate 'inside-out' staging concepts.
She loves welcoming newcomers to the area, especially those transitioning from Manhattan or making an international move. Aimee is a Certified Buyers Representative and has the kind of mastery that comes from handling a variety of real estate experiences, such as potentially difficult hurdles with co-op boards and navigating challenging emotions in the sale or purchase of a home, including dealings with hoarder homes. Aimee's clients appreciate and depend on her calming nature and persistence in any real estate situation.
Aimee depends on her outlets of Pilates, gardening, tennis, and the ocean to keep her centered.
