Local Expertise. Global Connections.
Kelly Crosby is a lifelong resident of Cape Cod. She brings a unique blend of market knowledge and creative energy to her real estate practice. Kelly has deep ties to the area and has a keen understanding of the marketplace through her personal history and extensive knowledge of the varied communities of the Cape. She comes from a long line of Cape Cod real estate investors, builders, and realtors. Her great-grandfather, grandfather, and father were all developers and builders in the Lower and Mid Cape. Through their business, Cape Cod Real Estate Exchange, in Dennis and Hyannis, they built such developments as Osterville Woods, South Winds in Craigville, Radio City Ocean Club in West Yarmouth, and Captains Village in South Yarmouth. Her mother worked as realtor in Osterville for 20 years and was often a top producer.
Prior to becoming a Realtor at Sotheby’s International Realty, Kelly was a gymnastics coach at Cape Cod Gymnastics in Dennis and Hyannis where she was also a gymnast in her childhood years. She also had an extensive sales career in high-end women’s clothing with Ellie Kai for 10 years. After attending school at Suffield Academy in Connecticut, Kelly earned her BS in sociology and plant and soil science at the University of Vermont. She is also a licensed massage therapist from the Spa Tech Institute of Massage, Polarity, and Aesthetics.
Following brief stints in California and Rhode Island, Kelly was drawn back by her local connections and innate love of the Cape and Islands. Kelly married Edward (“Ned”) Crosby, also a native of Osterville and 8th-generation descendant of the Crosby boat building family. Ned has his own business, E.M. Crosby Boatworks, building and maintaining wooden sailboats. Kelly and Ned currently live in Osterville with their four daughters. Always a lifelong dream for both Kelly and Ned, they pulled up stakes five years ago and spent a year sailing with their girls down to the Grenadines and back. Not before she obtained her EMT license, which she thought may be helpful to have on board.
Kelly is a member of the board at the Osterville Historical Society and, with her family, is a member of both the Wianno Club and the Wianno Yacht Club.
