Local Expertise. Global Connections.
Heather grew up in Connecticut and then made her way south for college, where she graduated with a B.A. in political science from the College of Charleston. Upon graduating, she took a leap and moved to Washington DC where she worked in government relations as a patient advocate with organizations such as Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Parkinson's Action Network. This is where she met her husband, a Rhode Islander with deep family roots in Newport. Heather and her husband relocated to Newport in 2005 and she fell in love with the City by the Sea for its coastal beauty, historic preservation, and vibrant downtown.
As a licensed Realtor, Heather was thrilled to join the incredible team at Gustave White Sotheby's International Realty in 2019. She enjoys being part of a collaborative environment, which in turn benefits her clients, along with the distinction of the Sotheby's International Realty brand. Heather is focused on providing clients with the highest level of customer service, advocating for their needs, and working in partnership with all parties involved in a real estate transaction. She understands that buying or selling a home can be daunting, so she stands by her clients every step of the way. Active in her community and having lived in multiple towns on Aquidneck Island, Heather has a great appreciation for what each community on the island has to offer. She enjoys sharing this knowledge with her clients whether they live locally or are relocating from afar.
Heather spends her downtime with her husband, three active children, and their black lab Benny. If she's not at a sporting event for one of her children, volunteering at their schools, or trying to learn the game of golf from her husband, you will find her walking one of the many beautiful beaches in the area. As a "reformed" runner, she enjoys swimming or biking when she has the chance, as well as spending time with friends and family exploring Southern Rhode Island.
