Karin has been selling and marketing the dream of homeownership since she launched her Real Estate career in 1976. After graduating from Northwestern University with a BS in History Education Karin relocated to Denver, Colorado where she started her family and immersed herself in all aspects of the real estate industry. Since 1976 Karin has been involved in leasing, selling, marketing, and merchandizing new homes. During her long career Karin has been the consummate professional, putting clients first and focusing on their best interests. Karin considers herself a relationship salesperson. Trust and ethics are the backbone of her success. Since 1979 Karin has specialized in upper-tier new home sales and management. Karin has worked with both regional and national home builders in Colorado, California, and Nevada. In 2000 Karin was the VP of Sales and Marketing at Red Rock Country Club in Las Vegas where her sales team held the honor of selling the most homes in record time in one of the fastest growing master planned community's in the United States. At RRCC her sales team produced over 140 million in revenue by closing 265 homes with a median price of $600,000. As an active member of The National Association of Homebuilders, Karin was instrumental in founding the 7th 50-Plus Housing Council in the United States. It was her passion for preservation and her awe of our agricultural heritage that drew her back to the North Fork. In the 1890's Karin's great grandfather had the vision to carve out a little piece of heaven on the Peconic Bay for his family's summer residence, “South Wind.” As an amateur artist and photographer, the allure of the North Fork captivated Karin. As a “Third Generation Summer Girl” there is none more qualified to share the appeal of the North Fork lifestyle and guide her clients to share their stories about the rich history of the region. For Karin, returning to the North Fork was also about being close to family as both of Karin's parents needed extended home care. Three generations of family, on both Karin's mother's side, as initial homeowners on Nassau Point, and Karin's grandfather who, with his friends from Brooklyn, helped found North Fork Country Club, realized how exceptional the lifestyle was on the North Fork. Her parents met at a restaurant after sailing at what is now called Legend's. Karin's exceptional network of friends and family are the foundation of her new career. Paramount in Karin's philosophy is giving back to the community that she is immensely grateful to be a part of. She serves others through many organizations she's involved in, including her Tri Delta Sorority, New Suffolk S&B Charitable Group, Cutchogue New Suffolk Historical Society, New Suffolk Waterfront Fund, Surfrider Foundation, New Suffolk Civic Association and charity events organized by her golfing group, The Ceddarettes. Karin was honored to become an active member of Daniel Gale International Realty Family in September of 2017. Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty provided the perfect platform to market and sell her own family home.
