Laurie Burnette of Prominent Properties Sotheby's International Realty in Franklin Lakes is now celebrating her 36th year in real estate. Over the years, she has built a reputation as an honest, loyal, and trustworthy Realtor.
“I have worked with many of my clients, multiple times over the last 36 years – and many have become friends,” Laurie notes. “I love working and finding my clients, the house of their dreams.”
Laurie works primarily with residential listings in the Northwest Bergen County area, which she knows well from personal experience. Originally from Ho-Ho-Kus, Laurie moved to Franklin Lakes as a young girl. She attended the local schools and graduated from Indian Hills High. Laurie and her two children still reside in the Borough.
“It’s a great place to live and raise a family,” Laurie says of Franklin Lakes, where she coached softball for 10 years, served as Softball Director, volunteered on the Recreation Committee, and became President of the Recreation Foundation. While involved with recreation, she helped renovate the Tommy John Field and push through the Pulis Avenue Recreation Complex. Since 2006, she has been a volunteer for the Franklin Lakes Ambulance Corps and has served as Captain, President, Secretary, and 1st & 3rd Lts.
Laurie first started in real estate in 1987 with a large firm and 14 years with a small local company before joining Prominent Properties Sotheby's International Realty.
“My parents moved our family to Franklin Lakes in 1963. After growing up here, I knew this is where I wanted to raise our family. Such a wonderful hometown, fantastic schools, and a real sense of Volunteerism!'
